I'm in a real mix of emotions at the moment with the epic high of my daughter being born to the gutting reality of Nan my best friend not being here to enjoy it properly.
I was the last person to speak to you a few hours prior which doesn't surprise me as we talked almost daily I'd sent some pictures of Lucie to the home she had only just gone to at her wish for some extra support and wanted to make sure she had gotten them, she had and was over the moon - she was a tough woman and rarely cried but she did with happiness, we spoke for a good while about all sorts of things and laughed about doing a great escape from the home when all the restrictions are lifted for a Friday night chippy and a film night at mine with everyone just like we use to do years ago.
I was under no illusions nan was ill she was very much and we often spoke about it but she was tough and we thought she would maybe see to later in the year, few people have said that maybe she waited for us to have something to focus on before she went, I don't really believe that as she was looking forward to seeing Lucie.
I'll just take that I do have something to focus on and I'm lucky to have that thankfully ❤
