I knew Stuart when we were in the same class at Secondary School. Didn't know you would become famous Stu ! Remember, I have your autograph in my book. It may be worth a few bob one day! My condolences to your family.

I WAS SHOCKED TO LEARN VERY BELATEDLY OF STUARTS DEATH. I FOUGHT HIM SEVERAL TIMES IN COMPETITIONS IN YORKS -- HE ALWAYS WON. I CAN REMEMBER HIM WINNING HIS FIRST YORKSHIREBMIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP AT 17 YEARSCOF AGE. HE WAS A TERIFIC JUDOKA. IF BRIANNJACKS HADN'T BEEN AROUND HE MIGHT WELL HAVE MADE THE OLYMPIC TEAM
