"Pat was a dear friend of my late Mother .... Dahlia, so much so that my Mother often shared my personal issues with her to the extent that she became "Aunty" We always had an affinity that I tried to play down, but it was one that I never forgot, Pat was a large part of my teenage life (good and bad) and for some reason she seemed to like me and forgive me for all those things that teens do, she was skilled in law but understood forgiveness and love. She was never quite the same after the loss of Ian, I only have fond memories of them both ... Saturday evening parties with chunks of cheese, cocktail onions skewered with sticks in half a grapefruit listening to Herb Albert, Carpenters, etc chatting, smoking and rubbing the ashes into the carpet. I hope she is at peace now and sharing a new life with Ian and if she does bump into my Mum in the next world then there will be another party happening. Loved you Pat xxxx "
