DorothyWITHERSWITHERS Dorothy. Passed away peacefully on Friday March 11th, aged 100. Former Head Teacher of Luckwell Primary School, lifetime resident of Clifton, Bristol. Much loved and respected by all who knew her. Will be sorely missed. Funeral service on March 28th at 1.00 pm at Canford Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations by cheque to National Trust c/o Co-operative Funeralcare, Westbury On Trym.

Miss Withers was my head teacher at Luckwell School, 1963 - 1970. A lovely lady who lived a long and fulfilling life, and always encouraged me in my interests, especially the natural world. I was in occasional contact with her until shortly before her death.
