Hazel EugenieALLENOn 26th June, 2019 Passed away peacefully in her sleep with her loving family at her side, aged 87 years at the Thornhill Nursing Home, Edgerton and of Birkby. Hazel, the much loved wife of the late Jeremiah Sylvanus (Jerry), the beloved mother of Heather, Ian and Fiona, a proud grandma of 8, great-grandma of 18 also a caring sister and a good friend to many. The cortege will leave the family home at 12 Noon on Tuesday 23rd July for a celebration of Hazel's life to be held at St John's Church, Birkby at 12:30 pm followed by committal at Huddersfield Crematorium. Family flowers only please but donations would be gratefully appreciated for the Dementia Society and the Forget Me Not Children's Hospice. Will friends please accept this intimation and meet at the church. All enquiries to the D.J. Screen & Sons Funeral Home, Fartown, Tel 01484 452220.
