MichaelSMITH ('Mick')'Mick' Passed away peacefully, after a short illness, on Wednesday 10th June 2020 aged 86 years. Beloved husband of the late Terry, dad to Danny, Martin and Kate. Mick will be missed by all his family and friends. Funeral to be held at Trent Valley Crematorium on Monday 22nd June. Sorry to hear about Mick. I worked with him in 32 shop until 1981 at the Loco Works, a lovely chap. Rest in peace friend.

So sorry to hear this sad news, I was an apprentice in 32 Shop at the Loco Works in the 1980's when I first met Mick. He was such a lovely man, kind and considerate and he looked after all of us in 32 shop as if we were his own. I feel very privileged to have known and worked for him, he will be remembered very fondly and with a smile by all those who knew him - RIP Mick
