Phyllis MargaretALCOCK ("Phyl")"Phyl" Passed away peacefully at Queens Hospital on Sunday 1st November 2020 aged 86 years. A loving wife of the late Ernie. A treasured mum of Julie and Andrew, grandma of Katie and Robert and great grandma of Evelyn, and who will be sadly missed by all the family. Due to the current restrictions, a private family service will be held on Tuesday 1st December at 2.15pm in the Carnarvon Chapel, Bretby Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Phyl can be sent directly to the family and will then be forwarded to the Royal British Legion. All enquiries to Ward and Brewin Funeral Services. Telephone 01283 215969.

I will always remember Auntie Phyllis for her big smile & rosey cheeks. She was always welcoming and friendly - I can imagine it could have sometimes been difficult with 2 young twins rushing towards her! As I got older, she still had the big grin and was always pleased to see us when we saw you out shopping. It’s a shame in older life, how families seem to get together just at weddings & funerals.
We should make time to see each other more. Sorry we can’t be there, Mum sends her very best wishes to you all.
