I’m so sorry to hear of David’s death. A more genuine, kind, caring and supportive colleague when I first started teaching would be hard to find. Sending deepest condolences to Jenny x

I worked with David in Germany, such an intelligent, genuine and kind person who was a force for good in the world. I cannot believe he has passed. I am so sorry Jenny, and to David’s family, my condolences. Hazel Russell

We all so enjoyed working with you David and knowing you and Jenny in your years in Germany. You were genuinely appreciated for your knowledge and care in your work with the pupils and schools across the SCE community. You arrived into a challenging environment and I'll be forever grateful for you pushing me into delivering all those bereavement training sessions with you! No one knew that an ice breaker about metaphors for loss could be fun but you pulled it off time and again. You loved language, loved being an EP and so clearly loved Jenny.
