Marcia GordonBARRETTpassed away on 7th October 2019 at her own home in Palm Springs, California where she had lived near her daughter Susan Major and son-in-law John Major for the past 25 years. She was a mere 99 years and 9 months old. She was born in Morayshire, Scotland and in the late 1940's moved to Rochdale with her husband Martin where they together raised their children Frank, Susan and Gordon. She is survived by Susan and John Major, daughter-in-law Pamela and grandchildren Gillian, Mark, Lisa, Gary and Roxanne plus great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. An SRN all her life, her career began at Altyre Hospital in Scotland and ended whilst working at Hurstead Nursing Home, Littleborough. She travelled the world to stay in touch and visit with all of her family. Many have voiced " An extraordinary life lived by an extraordinary woman..."
