MarleneBENNETTSadly and unexpectedly taken from us on 4th June after fighting a short illness with great courage and dignity. Marl, the one true love of husband Ken, devoted mam of Helen, Richard and Stuart, mother-in-law to Gavin, Jo and Paula, proud grandma of Nathan, Sophie, Stevan and Shaun and cherished sister of Janice and the late Colin and much loved sister-in-law and auntie to all her nieces and nephews. Marlene leaves behind a large hole in the lives of all those who were fortunate to know her. Funeral Thursday 20th June 2019 when a service will be held at Swansea Crematorium at 2.30pm. Family flowers only please, donations in memory of Marlene if so desired to Cancer Research UK (Cheques only please) c/o Phillip G. How sad to find this notice today. Condolences to the whole family. I have so many lovely memories of Marlene - mostly feeding me up on my visits to see Helen when we were at Gors and Townhill. She always made me feel so welcome and always managed to look glamorous even when doing the house-work. One very lovely lady. RIP
