Hi mate, found this a lot harder to do than I thought it would be. We knew each other for a lot of years but truly became mates in 2004. I could never understand how we just clicked and knew what each other was thinking or understood what each other was going through at pivotal points in each others lives. I can honestly say I have never laughed as much in our conversations so much my "Theirs" felt they were jumping out of my back! I miss our telephone calls so much even now after they went from daily, weekly and fortnightly due to circumstances. I won't be able to attend next week to say goodbye as I would rather say see you later. See you again my friend, counselor and confident. Your brother from another mother.

An absolute Gentleman in every way possible. The last time I saw you sums up exactly what you were about as a real family man. Despite the pain you were going through and the battles you got to football training to try see the lads to encourage them to show them no matter what life throws at you then you keep smiling and battle through it. My Liam loved you as his coach always praising him and being the one to put an arm around his shoulder. Out in Belgium with the kids touring where other brave soldiers battled in much different circumstances however just as brave as you. The way that group of lads looked up to you should make your whole family proud that one person could make so many people happy. RIP Gary.

Gary, from the day I met you,I always found you to be a true gentleman and a very caring person.you had a great sense of humour and were an excellent and dedicated member of the coop management team.you were always willing to help when needed and would go that extra mile.your family will be absolutely devastated to have lost you and as a very young boy who lost his dad,I know some of their pain.look down and guide them along the right path.
