Diana JillDIMAMBRODied peacefully in Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge on Saturday 5th October 2024, aged 85 years.

Beloved wife to Michael for 58 years, Jill was mother to Julia and Martin, mother-in-law to Hayley, grandmother to eight and great grandmother to five.

She will be missed with sadness and happy memories by family and friends.

Jill came to Cambridge 60 years ago as Nurse Rowe to be district midwife for the Arbury area and later practice nurse in the local surgery. She also nursed in Addenbrookes Day Surgery in its first years.

There will be a funeral service held in the East Chapel of Cambridge City Crematorium at 11.30am on Thursday 14th November 2024.

Family flowers only please, but donations if desired in memory of Jill to Dementia UK at the service, online or through

I had the pleasure of caring for jill for a short time at waterbeach lodge, gill will be greatly missed I will always remember our little rhymes see ya later alligator and and jill would always reply (in a while what ever) and laugh
