ColinDRURYJames On 13th April 2019 After a short illness in Huddersfield Royal Infirmary aged 74 years. The dearly loved and loving husband of Bronwen of Beaumont Park and devoted dad of Martin, Robert and Caroline, dear father-in-law of Sally, Maria and Kevin and a much loved grandad. The cortege will leave his residence on Tuesday 7th May for service and cremation at Huddersfield Crematorium 1.15pm. Relatives and friends please accept this intimation and meet at the Crematorium. Family flowers only please by request to McNulty Funeral Home, 25 New North Parade no later than 11am on Tuesday please. Donations in lieu if so desired to The British Liver Trust. A donation box will be available at the Crematorium or via website https://www.britishlivertrust.org.uk/home/donate Requiescat In Pace

I attended Huddersfield University between 1984 and 1988 (Huddersfield Polytechnic as it was in those days). I was very fortunate to have been taught by Colin Drury. A wonderful lecturer and a man of great intelligence, humour and humility.
