ChristineGAMBLESadly passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday 27th April, surrounded by her family. She will be dearly missed by daughter Liz, her husband Paul and granddaughters Daisy and Amy. A funeral service will be held at Canford Crematorium on Thursday 12th May at 12.00 noon. For any enquiries please contact Brunel Independent Funeral Directors on 0117 374 2002.

I believe this is the Christine I met many years ago in St Lucia with her husband Ken. My son, Kenneth and I were befriended by this lovely couple. Christine and I corresponded every year since. I knew she was being treated for cancer; when I had no response - found this. Christine’s letters were a joy to read. She was thoughtful, insightful. I looked forward to our correspondence each Christmas. She was proud of and grateful for her family and shared stories of baking with her granddaughters and outings with dear friends. Such a warm, genuine person is always missed.
