DavidHALLAMPassed away peacefully on 4th September 2021 after a short illness, aged 82 years. Devoted husband of the late Mavis, much loved dad of Philip, Jonathan, Nicholas and Stephanie, cherished grandad of Benjamin, Luke, Sophie, Bethany, Sean, Carl and Charlie, loving great-grandad and treasured father in law. David was one of the founding members of Klondyke Mill Preservation Centre in 1969 and will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. Funeral Friday 24th September, service 11.30am at St Werburgh's Church, Hanbury followed by interment in the Churchyard. All are welcome. Donations in David's memory payable to 'Murray's Charity Account' may be sent c/o Murray's Funeral Directors 23 York Street, Burton on Trent, DE14 2LX. Tel. 01283 562299. Hanbury Churchyard was a special place close to David's heart and somewhere he spent many hours to help maintain it. All donations will be sent to the church to help continue his work.
