Doreen IvyHUMEPassed away peacefully on 9 September at Park View Care Home, Witham at the age of 94.
With a strong Christian faith, Doreen was a long-time member at Central Baptist Church, Chelmsford. Former nursing sister in hospital and workplace settings. Gifted singer in local choirs and groups. Taught children to play the recorder. She will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
The funeral service will be at the North Chapel at Chelmsford Crematorium at 1pm on 14th October, followed by burial in the Writtle Road Cemetery. Doreen requested that bright colours be worn.
