‘Auntie’ Pat was a close family friend of my parents, Derek and Dorothy Lee, through my childhood and into adult life. I know, from my parents, the important role she played professionally as an anaesthetist as part of a pioneering team undertaking Orthopaedic surgery in the early days of joint replacements. My own recollections are of many happy times with Pat and Ken on shared holidays and at family social events, often involving music and always lots of laughter. Love and thanks for the memories to both.
