My uncle Alan was without doubt one of the sweetest, kindest men I’ve ever known.
From my earliest memories as a child I always remember Alan’s big smile and joyful personality..
Every Christmas and virtually every birthday was spent with Averil and Alan and I’m sad that we won’t be spending it together again this year.

You were the best Uncle and I’m going to miss you dearly. But like my late Granny and Mum I’ll think of you often

Grandad, words can’t describe the pain we are all feeling since you left us.

The only comfort is you are no longer in pain.

You have taught me that life is worth living and never take time for granted ❤️.

I’m going to miss you telling me stories of where you’ve been around the world with you’re friends but grandma still speaks fondly of your travels together.

Rest in peace grandad
Until we meet again xx

We will miss you so much! Especially the curry nights we used to have and the shopping trips with Alfie. The best Dad, father in law and Grandad we could have asked for. You are free from pain now, rest in peace 💜love Andrew, Kate & Alfie xx

Alan you were a person who was close to our hearts. Your humour was one of a kind and we will truly miss you! The trips to the Caribbean and catching up with Cass in Jamaica was a true memory! When we saw you beside Averil we saw true love ❤️

May you rest in eternal peace. Sending love to your close family and especially Averil.

Lots of love always
