Mrs MarySKETCHLEYIt's with great sadness to report that Mary Sketchley (94) passed away on Saturday 20th February. Mum to Sylvia, Philip and Andrew (d 2016), Grandma to Jeffrey, Sarah and Hannah and Great Grandma to Sam, Max and Beatrice. Mary lived with Dad, Ev all their married life since 1948 in Normanton on Soar, firstly at The Ferry House, where she ran the first village shop and latterly at The Forge. Many will know she had suffered from Alzheimer's for several years and we would like to thank the dedicated staff and nurses at Jasmine Court in Loughborough for the loving care they gave to her over the last 5 years. The last of the Marshall siblings she now joins Ethel, Les, Irene, Eddie, Fred, Betty and Vera, Dad and Andrew.
