Beryl JeanSMITHIt is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beryl from Gotherington on 26th April 2020, aged 85 years. The dear wife of the late Malcolm and caring, loving mother and Auntie B to Susan, Judith, Claire, Bridgette, Wendy and the late Sally (recently deceased). She was a fun loving Grandma to her 11 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren, she will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Sadly due to the current circumstances, there will be a private cremation on 15th May 2020, followed by a celebration of her fabulous life at a later date. A big thank you to Dr Moore at Stoke Rd Surgery, Dr Macrow at Overton Park Surgery, together with the wonderful staff at St Faiths Nursing Home and her fabulous team of carers who looked after her so well at home. Donations in lieu of flowers, made payable to the following charities; Winston's Wish, Sue Ryder Leckhampton Hospice or The Injured Jockeys Fund may be sent c/o Mason & Stokes, 54 Hewlett Road, Cheltenham, GL52 6AH.

Claire, I’ve just read the the sad news of Beryl, she was a lovely lovely lady who we all new when growing up, sad to hear Sally had also died.

A very longstanding friend, from the Alderton days, the narrow boat holidays, and the Babbacombe weekends. It was such a joy to be in her company and Beryl will be greatly missed by so very many friends. Always in our thoughts.
