David PeterSTARK(Formerly of TATA Steel, Scunthorpe) Peacefully, after a short illness bravely fought, David aged 61, passed away surrounded by his loving wife and daughter. Beloved husband of Jane, devoted dad and father in law to Emma and Shane, treasured grandad to Harvey, Alfie and Arthur, much loved son of Ivy and the late Alan, and son in law to Amy. A cherished brother to Linda, Kath and Mick and brother in law to Rod, Cheryl, Glen, Maggie and the late Doug. An uncle, great uncle, nephew and cousin who will be sorely missed by his many great friends and neighbours. A service to celebrate David's life will take place at Grimsby Crematorium on Thursday 1st November at 3.00pm. Family flowers only please by request. Donations in lieu, if so desired, can be made payable to 'The Amethyst Ward' and handed to the funeral director on the day of the service. One of life's rare characters, never a dull moment when you was around, still chuckle to myself when I just got out of hospital with my arm strapped up and you had Tek screwed my gate up, we had many laughs like that even when you became poorly.
Hope you have taken some Teks with you, because knowing you there will be something that needs doing where you are.
Will miss you kid.

Proud to be your cousin. One hell of a great guy to know. Will miss your sense of humour Dave not many like yours around. Hope you're making them laugh and showing them how to party up there. Never failed to buy me a drink when ever you see me you were one of the good guys life is unfair at times. Don't think life will be the same for me knowing you're just not there.
