Fiona will be so deeply missed. I count myself immensely blessed to have had her in my life - always there for each of us with words of friendship and an open door, always there with her warm smile and generous spirit, in good times and bad. And, finding myself reflecting in recent days, a flood of happy memories has come in amidst the sadness: from childhood visits to the Wrights in Windsor Road, to the fabled 'cakey teas' as we grew up, to the small everyday joys of outings along the coast and beyond, they're recollections I'll always treasure. My every thought is with David, Ben, Alex, Emily, and all their family: Fiona was so very proud of you, and I see so much of her in you all. We're sending you all our love and heartfelt sympathy at this devastating loss x

I've been so honoured and privileged to have known Fiona for most of my life. Having met at school, we became inseparable and developed a very special friendship and a deep bond that remained steadfast. Throughout life's journey and experiences, we have shared so much together: Joy, happiness, laughter, smiles and sometimes sadness. Fiona was the most wonderful friend to me. She was kind, caring, compassionate and thoughtful. She had an amazing sense of humour and a truly golden heart. Fiona has touched my life in so many ways - and I will always be grateful for that, and will cherish the many happy memories we made together.
Thank you for everything Fiona. I will miss you more than words could ever say, and feel so very blessed to have had you in my life. Sleep peacefully my beautiful friend. Until we meet again, all my love, Fiona xxx

Fiona was my very special close friend and honorary cousin. We grew up together and our friendship lasted over 50 years. She was the kindest, funny and most loving friend I could ever have. My heart goes out to Uncle Robert, David, Ben, Alex and Emily. I miss her so very much. Love you from Karen xxx

To David, Ben, Alex and Emily, I am so sorry to hear about Fiona's passing. She was just so lovely, sweet-natured, kind and funny, and so beautiful too. Fiona was the mum I'd like to be. Our son Alex spent a lot of time with Ben and missed no opportunity to tell us how lovely his mum was! I feel so very sad for you all; this is just awful news. Thinking of you all, Hilary Ranahan and family xxx
