Antony (Tony)ALDERWICKDad, it's 4 years ago that you were taken to Heaven in the arms of the angels. You held my hand when I was small, you caught me when I fell, the hero of my childhood and in the later years too. Every time I think of you my heart fills with pride and although I'll always miss you dad, I know you're by my side. A beautiful memory, dearer than gold, of a father's worth, can never be told. In laughter, in sorrow, in sunshine, in rain, you left us with a legacy of courage, strength and bravery. Your legacy remains a blessing to us, knowing you're watching over us until we meet again. It broke our hearts to lose you but you did not go alone. A part of us went with you, the day God took you home. If tears could build a stairway, and heartache make a lane, we'd walk our way to Heaven and bring you back again. In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place no one could fill. "My Father didn't tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it". A beloved husband to Sue, Dad to Jessica, Mark and Susanah, Grampy to Kiera, Sienna and Ethan, Father in law to Mike and brother to David Andrew. Until we meet again All our love, forever and always Xxxxxxx
