Antony (Tony)ALDERWICKDad, it's 4 years ago that you were taken to Heaven in the arms of the angels. You held my hand when I was small, you caught me when I fell, the hero of my childhood and in the later years too. Every time I think of you my heart fills with pride and although I'll always miss you dad, I know you're by my side. A beautiful memory, dearer than gold, of a father's worth, can never be told. In laughter, in sorrow, in sunshine, in rain, you left us with a legacy of courage, strength and bravery. Your legacy remains a blessing to us, knowing you're watching over us until we meet again. It broke our hearts to lose you but you did not go alone. A part of us went with you, the day God took you home. If tears could build a stairway, and heartache make a lane, we'd walk our way to Heaven and bring you back again. In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place no one could fill. "My Father didn't tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it". A beloved husband to Sue, Dad to Jessica, Mark and Susanah, Grampy to Kiera, Sienna and Ethan, Father in law to Mike and brother to David Andrew.
