JoanKERRof Highfield Hall Care home, formerly of Brooklands, Helmshore, died on Wednesday, December 18, at Highfield Hall Care Home, aged 87. She was a volunteer driver for 10 years driving elderly and disabled people whenever needed. Widow of Irving, she leaves her daughter Shona and son-in-law Steve, grandchildren Samantha and Deborah and their husbands Justin and Fred, and great-grandchildren Will, April and Ben. Also, fond thoughts from Colin, Jo, Gareth and Yukie. The funeral service took place at St Peter's Church, Haslingden, on Wednesday, January 8, at 10.40am, conducted by the Rev Stephen Brown, followed by burial at Bacup Cemetery at 12noon. Funeral director: Knight & Boys Funeral Service, Newchurch Road, Stacksteads, Bacup.
