DavidWHALLEYAfter a courageous battle against his illness, David aged 81 years of Madeley, passed away peacefully on his birthday at home on Friday 30th August 2019 surrounded by his ever loving family, the brilliant and doting husband of Barbara, treasured and adored dad of Tony, Sue and Andrew, devoted and dedicated granddad of Dane, Edward, Derry and the late Leigh, beloved brother of Norman, Phyllis and Hilary and a respected uncle and brother-in-law. David will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all his family and friends. Service and cremation to take place on Thursday 19th September at Bradwell Crematorium at 2.00pm Will relatives please accept this intimation, friends kindly meet at the crematorium. Family flowers only, donations if desired to either the Cancer Unit at the RSUH or the Douglas Macmillan Hospice. I will cherish my memories of Dave and all of the time I have spent the Whalley family.

Dave was always very friendly and welcoming to me. I spent many a happy Easter and Christmas with him and Barbara in Madely at what became my home away from home. Even on the other side of the world, I fondly recall the time I spent with him. I will miss him.
