Father Rooke married my husband and I almost 30 years ago at St Bedes Church in Stockton. It was a lovely ceremony, and Fr Bill was so calm, kind, thoughtful and supportive during the stressful run up to our wedding. He had a lovely kind soul and we were blessed to have him carry out our wedding ceremony, such a happy day full of warmth and love.
