Such a sad loss of a true gentleman in every sense of the word; someone who always made you feel welcome and was always willing to help with anything boat related.

Mr Le Guen was a truly lovely man. I remember him as very kind, patient and very funny. He never complained about running Carol and I back & forth to the sailing club discos when we were teenagers and was always incredibly welcoming whenever I would visit - whether the occasion was just Carol and I closeted away upstairs for hours, taping the Sunday chart show, or when I visited at Christmas to join the whole family. I know he will be much missed. Sending sincere condolences and lots of love to everyone. Pamela Green (nee Blundell)
