MargaretMASONSTANLEY On the 18th July aged 71years, Margaret Ellen nee Hodgson. Beloved wife of the late George, Dearly loved Mam of Tracey, Stan, Debra and George. A much loved Nan and Great Nan to all her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Also sister to Bob. Margaret will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Please meet for funeral service at South Moor Methodist Church on Monday 30th July at 2:15pm prior to interment at Stanley Cemetery. Everyone is welcome to return to East Stanley Working Mens club for refreshments.

Well Mam the summers nearly over and it's been over a year since you gained your wings but you not being here does not get any easier. I hope you and Dad love how your final resting place is looking, it's absolutely beautiful and I'll make sure it stays looking beautiful for aslong as I'm here, I promise to visit you every single week. Mother of mine you gave to me all of my life to do as I please.
I owe everything I have to you Mother sweet mother of mine.
Mother of mine when I was young you showed me the right way things should be done.
Without your love where would I be? Mother sweet mother of mine.
Mother, you gave me happiness much more than words can say, I pray the lord that he may bless you every night and every day.
Now I am grown and I can walk straight all on my own I’d like to give you what you gave me mother sweet mother of mine.
