RupertSMITHSMITH (RUPERT) Suddenly, but peacefully, at home on August 25th. 2012. Rupert, dearly loved Husband of the late Jacqueline, revered and adored Father of Julian and the late Marcus. Father in law of Adriana and Lynda, much loved Grandfather of Louis, Victoria and Richard, and Great Grandfather to Theo, Jack, Isabella and Katie. Also held in the highest esteem by Stephanie, Michael, Yvonne, Gino, Rita, Adriano and Yvette. The funeral will take place on September 17th. at St. Pius X Church, Alderley Edge at 10.00 a.m. prior to committal at Macclesfield Crematorium at 11.20 a.m. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, for Francis House Children’s Hospice. All enquiries and donations to J. Jennings & Son, Chelford Rd., Alderley Edge SK9 7TL. Tel. 01625 584199.

The start of 2023 seems to have come and gone. Misery and disaster appears to be the order of the day. With so much unhappiness in the world we, remain grateful to have our health still and principals still intact. We focus on kindness and compassion in this troubled society. Your inspiration and values of integrity and honesty have been invaluable to us at this time. For that we are eternally in your debt. Our love to both you and Mum remains foremost in our minds.
