I was so sorry to read of Ray's death. He was a great friend and neighbour of my late Mother and myself. I'm only glad I got to see him when I was last over in the UK in late January. I will always remember our dinners at the Bamford Arms. The world is a little worse off after losing Ray, one of life's absolute gentlemen.
