Dorothy Amelia (Dot)CUNNINGHAMIt is with heartbreaking emotion that we, the family of Dorothy Cunningham, aged 86 and of Brackley Road, Heaton Chapel, have to announce the passing of the most loved, cherished and respected lady to all who were privileged to know her. Dorothy passed away on Thursday, 7th May 2020, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She leaves behind 6 children, 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 3 siblings and many nieces and nephews, and was adored by all. 'Dot' as she was affectionately known, came from humble beginnings with her fair share of traumas, but eventually, with the growth, kindness and prosperous successes of all her children, she was able to flourish and enjoy life to the full. She will always be so fondly remembered for her amazing sense of humour and constant laughter. Pride in herself and her family was very obvious and no gathering was too small for her to enjoy and show off her family and their partners. Life won't be the same for many, many people now, but each and every one will carry their own fond and special memories of times they've shared with 'Dot'.
