ANDREWSRoy 18.12.1935 - 09.06.2017 Roy 'butch' Andrews, of Metheringham, died on 9th June 2017 at home, surrounded by Jean, Nick and Marianthi. He was 81 and never old. Born above the butcher's shop he lived his whole life in Metheringham and married Jean (nee Gash), in May 1959. A unique man, caring husband and devoted Dad, Roy was so sincere, true and warm of heart, always laughing and very helpful to others. He loved playing golf and was a proud captain of Blankney and Woodhall Spa. He will be greatly missed. Cremation at Lincoln Crematorium, Washingborough Road, Lincoln on Tuesday July11th at 10.30am, memorial service at St. Wilfrid's Church, Church Walk, Metheringham at 12.30pm and a celebration at Woodhall Spa Golf Club at 2.30pm. Please join us at any time. He told us no black and no flowers.
