MICHAEL FORDFORD (Bedlington). Michael, died 3rd January 2009, aged 26 years. A whole year has passed since you left me and the pain is unbearable, I sorely miss everything about you, your wonderful smile, your great sense of humour, your gentle voice and your warm and loving presence. I truly admired your bravery, courage, purity and your tremendous fighting spirit you achieved so much academically and met a lot of famous people along the way. We had many great laughs together you and I, I don't laugh much now. You were so clever you could weigh people up within two seconds and the fact you were so correct every time astounded me, it showed great wisdom and intuition way beyond your years and I relied on you a lot for that. Everyone described you as inspirational and you always left a lasting impression on everyone you met. You entered this world very quietly without a sound and you left it the same way. You knew you were going and you did it in such a way you thought would not hurt us so much and you also said that you had no choice. For all that I have said about you these are only a very few reasons I miss you so. I told you a long time ago that I would never stop yearning for you and I cry bitterly for you every day, this is true. I dearly love and miss you so very much my life has never been the same.
