David JohnABBOTTAged 63 years. Eldest Son of Joan and the late Peter Abbott, Brother to Susan, Roger and Lesley. Sadly passed away on November 6th after a long and painful illness bravely borne. Sincere thanks to the very caring nurses and staff at St. Helena Hospice, Colchester and Little Holland Hall Nursing Home. Funeral service at St. Andrews Churchyard, Earls Colne on Friday November 16th at 2pm. Flowers welcome and donations to St. Helena Hospice can be sent to Daniel Robinson & Sons, Ltd., 52, Trinity Street, Halstead, CO9 1GB.

Remembering my dear Dave who brightened my life for 11 years. His loving affection, humour & mischief are very sadly missed. He endured many life difficulties with courage & determination. Now my photo album is a great comfort to see him as he once was & I've written down his funny sayings too. He still has the ability to make me laugh despite my tears.
I shall love him always & forever. Jean XXX
