Christine has various memories.....one of my earliest memories is when all my school friends knew who my mum was and coming up to me and saying "Chris, your mum's here "again"!!! She was always visiting the schools to see the headmasters, as I was always in trouble.

Mum used to run some of the Sunday Schools at this same Church and used to knit myself and Colin virtually the same Sunday School outfits, apart from Colin would have to wear knitted shorts, tank top and jumper, where I would have a skirt, tank top and cardigan.

Which leads me onto the hours mum put in, trying to teach me and one of my oldest friends how to knit. She would be working away doing something in the Kitchen and then I would shout Mum, help, I have dropped a stitch and then it will be "Mrs A, help, I have dropped a stitch, I do not think she got much housework done, going from one to the other of us....and I never did learn how to pick up dropped stitches.

Later memories are of course, Colin and I following mum and dad to all the Old Time, Ballroom dancing. We started on Monday nights at Bassingbourn Village College and that led to Wednesday nights at Royston Town Hall and then the "Big Band Evenings all over the place on a Saturday Night, which then led to mum and dad having a different club to go to every night of the week and then Sunday Afternoon Tea Dances..... "They had a Ball" and made 100's of new friends.

The last few years have been "Bingo" years. Of which I like a game of Bingo and again, mum made some more new friends and kept in touch with some old ones.

Mum, I have loads of lovely memories to many to mention and you will be missed by many and I hope you have or will meet up with all our loved one's that have also left us. Miss and Love you loads...
