IdrisAHMEDIt is with great sadness that we have to announce that Idris passed away with his family around him on Wednesday 9 February 2022 at University Hospital of Wales. Beloved husband of Christine, much loved father of Victoria and Thomas, father-in-law of Simon, and adored grampy of Jacob and Beatrice. Gone far too soon and will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral Monday 28 February 2022 at 1.30pm at St Mary's Church, Butetown. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if so desired, towards Cancer Research Wales cancerresearchwales.co.uk

Everyone that knew Idris will always think of him laughing and smiling and he will be remembered by not only his family but so many people.
His family were his life, he adored Christine and they journeyed through life together always looking out for each other and secure in each other's love. He loved Victoria and Thomas with all his heart and that love transcended to Jacob and Beatrice and his future grandchildren. The only light at this sad time is the blessing of the many happy memories that they all shared.
RIP Idris and God Bless from Sheila and all the Daly family
