What an amazing teacher and later friend Brenda was. She opened a world of beautiful music to a poor council house kid. So many fond memories of times at School, helping me gain a place in the Staffordshire County Youth choir, passing music exams and later welcoming me to her home as a friend In later years. I will never forget one day whilst teaching us she was called upon, at the last minute to conduct a famous choir at the Victoria Hall, I think it was the Vienna boys choir, as the conductor had be taken ill. I believe she did the city proud. Thank you Brenda for all you gave to me, You will live on in the classical music I listen to everyday. Rest in Peace. Love Denise Turner nee Brannigan.
