I worked with Balfey out of Poynton office at the Pru and we became firm friends. Brian was a larger than life character and a first classs adviser. He was always positive and you couldn't help but like him. I am deeply saddened to hear that he has passed away and my thoughts are with his family.

I've just today found out about Brian's passing. My thoughts and condolences are with his family. Brian and I knew each other for many years due to our respective careers in Financial Services. He was a good man and always excellent company with an almost permanent smile etched on his face. RIP Balfy.

I first met Brian almost 25 years ago when we both worked at the Pru. We always kept in touch over the years. Brian was a larger than life character and always great company. I'll never forget Brian and that's not just because I was a recipient of a Balfy Splash.

To all of Brian's family. Brian and I have been friends for 20 years and I simply cannot believe he is gone. I loved his friendship and sense of humour. He had a heart of gold and I really will miss him. Rest in peace Brian xxx
