Jill VallettaBANKHEADSadly passed away on Monday 3rd January 2022, surrounded by her loving family at University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, aged 78 years, Jill of Y Gwernydd, Glais. Precious wife of Brian, much loved and devoted mother of Kevin, Karl and Mark, and mother-in-law of Helen, Trudie and Charlotte, adored nanny of Anwen, Steffan, Tom and Jack. Jill will be greatly missed by all her loving family and many friends. Funeral service at St Paul's Church, Glais on Friday 21st January at 1:30pm followed by interment at Coedgwilym Cemetery. Due to current restrictions attendance at the Church will be limited to family only, however friends are invited to gather at the cemetery for the interment service. For those wishing to pay their respects in the village, the funeral cortege will be leaving Jill's home on Y Gwernydd at 1:15pm travelling along Station Road, Garth Road, Cefn Road and School Road on route to St Paul's. Family flowers only please, however donations in memory of Jill gratefully received for Wales Air Ambulance c/o Les Davies Independent Funeral Directors, Neath Funeral Home, Main Road, Cadoxton, Neath, SA10 8AP.
