NicholasBARRACLOUGHPeacefully, after a short illness, on the 28th December at the Royal Stoke University Hospital, Nick, aged 63. Dearly loved husband of Jill, dad to Adam and Laura, Grandad to Kadyn, Isabelle, Daisy, Ivy, Rowena and Jonah. Dear Son to Doreen, brother to Dawn and Paul. A private funeral service is to be held on Friday 22nd January 2021 at 10.00am and is to be streamed online. Please, no flowers. Donations to the UHNM Charity (Critical Care). How we would have liked to get to know Nick better. We only met a few times. We will never forget this kind and gentle man who was such a brilliant Granddad. He is greatly missed. Our thoughts are with his family.

Still in shock and disbelief I am writing this Nick. I am forever grateful you allowed me to Marry your little princess and for been an amazingly magical grandfather to my children. I will always cherish the fantastic memories I have of you ranging from stressful times at the blackjack table on cruise Holidays, watching Vale v Bradford and having the awkward drive home and our little day trip to Wembley. Stand easy in Midland Road big man.
