TonyBATCHELOR (Anthony Frederick)of Churchdown Brookfield School of Motoring Instructor for many years. Driving Examiner and Senior Driving Examiner with Driving Standards Agency (DSA) for 20 years. Driving for Badhams Pharmacy brought Tony out of retirement in 2015 for 7 enjoyable years. Tony's family are heartbroken to announce that he sadly passed away at home on Wednesday 13th April 2022 aged 80 years. A much loved husband and soulmate of Sharon. Proud and devoted Dad/Tony to Sally, Hannah, Katie and Tom. Grandad to Andrew and David. Father-in-law and friend of Mark, Brad, Beth and Cayleigh. A service to celebrate Tony's life will be held at Gloucester Crematorium on Friday 13th May 2022 at 1pm. Please dress to feel comfortable, with colour if you prefer. Family flowers only please. Donations are invited for Pancreatic Cancer UK via togetherinmemory.pancreaticcancer.org.uk/in-memory/Tony-Batchelor or in the retiring collection on the day. Tony, you were my Part 1 (off road) motorcycle examiner back in '82, before I started working for you as one of your instructors. I assisted with the Part 2 (road) training.
We lost contact for 20+ years, then by chance, seeing each other again in 2011, the last 11 years have been a pleasure knowing you again.
