Peacefully in hospital on 17th October, aged 97 years, Annie (formerly Tennant, nee Smith), beloved wife of the late Lewis Tennant and the late Harold Batey, dear and devoted mother of Anne and mother-in-law of Eric. Annie will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Funeral Service to take place at the West Road Crematorium, on Thursday 27th October at 1.30pm. Family flowers only by request, donations if desired to Leukaemia Research. All enquiries to Clark Pearson Funeral Directors, Denton Burn. Tel. (0191) 2744273.
