Paul DennisBAXTERPassed away peacefully at The Royal Derby Hospital on Tuesday 14th September 2021 aged 67 years. Much loved husband to Ali, fantastic dad of Neil and Bruce, devoted brother of Gail and Daz. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. Paul was a retired fire fighter for Derbyshire, a respected Derbyshire Football Manager, and a much admired DJ on the Derby Soul Scene. A private funeral service for family only will be held on Thursday 14th October 2021. For anyone wishing to pay their respects, his funeral cortege will be travelling along Merchant Street, Mackworth Road and onto Cowley Street in Derby at 1.00pm. At Paul’s request, no black is to be worn, bright and vibrant colours only please. No flowers. Donations if desired are invited for Shelter and Radcliffe Donkey Sanctuary. What a fantastic human being Paul was ❣️
I'm honoured to have known him both for his music and as a genuine friend 🥰
Nothing was ever too much trouble for him, he went out of his way to help anyone who needed it
Played some great music too x
I was shocked to hear this sad news and send all my love and condolences to his family ❣️
We've all lost one of the best ❤️

Very sad news hearing of Paul’s passing. Played football together at Tobruk Hall FC back in the late 70’s/80’s. My thoughts are for Paul and his family and friends at this sad time.
