Peacefully in Marie Curie Hospice on 16th August 2026 aged 53 years Mark beloved husband of Sarah, a loving dad of Scarlett and India, a much loved son and brother.

Would family and friends please meet for funeral service at the West Road Crematorium on Friday 11th September at 1.15pm.

Family flowers only please donations if so desired to Marie Curie, Newcastle.

All welcome afterwards for refreshments at The City of Newcastle Golf Club, Three Mile Bridge, Great N Rd, Newcastle upon Tyne NE3 2DR.

What a truly wonderful man! So kind, caring and helpful. Such a great husband to my lovely sister, the best we could of hoped for. Treating myself like a little sister. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The whole of the Chewings family will miss you xxx

Myself and Shelley feel very honoured to have known Mark. We will forever be grateful to him for our beautiful nieces, the happiness he brought to Sarah and of course the advice he gave me on quality items to buy (shelley might not be so grateful for this)
