SamBELLIt is with great sadness that David and Bunny Bell have to announce the sudden and unexpected death of their beloved younger son, Sam (Robert Samuel Bell) on 15th January 2021, age 56. Apart from his Father and Mother, Sam is survived by his Sister, Jenny McLeod, his Brother, Joe Bell, three Nieces, Lucy McLeod, Eleanor and Rosie Bell, Nephew, Tom McLeod and three unofficially adopted, much loved Daughters, Leanne, Sarah and Gemma. Sam resided in Broadstairs for many years, where he had a wide circle of good friends, who enjoyed his lively company and good humour. They showed him much kindness. Sam was afflicted by Multiple Sclerosis (MS), which was progressing and resulted in his enforced retirement from estate agency. He was a talented musician and enjoyed playing keyboard in a popular band called "Counterfeit Notes" and arranging much of their music until MS caused him to lose the sense in his fingers. That came as a severe blow to Sam. Sam's funeral service will be held at Thanet Crematorium at 12.15 p.m. on Tuesday, 2nd March 2021 but Covid-19 restrictions will limit attendance to just few closest family and friends. There are plans to invite all family and friends to a gathering, hopefully, this coming Summer, to celebrate Sam's life when it is safe to do so. In the meantime, donations in memory of Sam to the Multiple Sclerosis Society UK would be gratefully received, care of: H Noble, Funeral Directors, 1 Northdown Road, St Peter's, Broadstairs, Kent CT10 2UL - Tel. 01843 862503 - e-mail: funerals@hnoble.co.uk
