DorisBERTRAM (nee Atkinson)nee Atkinson Swalwell Peacefully in Rosewood Care Home on 18th October 2020 aged 82 years Doris. Dearly loved wife of Don, much loved mam of Neil, David and Claire and a loving mother-in-law, grandma, great grandma and sister. Due to the current situation a Private Funeral Service will be held at Whitehall Road Methodist Church, Gateshead on Thursday 29th October at 12.45pm. Cremation to follow at Saltwell Crematorium at 1.45pm. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to The Lewy Body Society c/o Martin Rankin Funeral Directors, 7 The Square, Front Street, Whickham, NE16 4JB. Doris loved and served God all her life.

There are very few words that can describe Doris and what a wonderful person she was,but selfless is definitely one of them!She was without doubt the most loving and caring person I have ever had the pleasure of knowing!I will never forget her and the kindness and love she showed to me,Rachael and our children!
