I went the match Everton friendly, and sat there thinking of Clive, last week; he was the best tutor. A great person, it only feels like yesterday you sadly went. I met your wife Jacqui, such a lovely lady and you always spoke about your daughter. I hope your family are well. Miss your songs and you always made the class worth going Debbie 💙 aug2023

Clive, it's been over a year now since you passed and it only feels like yesterday. You were my first deputy head steward at Everton and I feel I was blessed with a fantastic mentor with you and also Jimmy. Rest in Peace my friend, never far from my thoughts. NSNO

So sorry to hear the sad news about Clive. My thoughts and prayers are with his whole family. I met Clive at Newton High school where he was my science teacher and later on I joined the sixth form. He was such an amazing teacher and he ignited my love for science. Without his continuous support I would not be where I am now. He was so proud when I asked him for reference for my job in a chemistry lab in Speke. Thank you sir for everything. Sending lots of love to you all xxx

Dear Jacqui, Ruth and family.

Like everyone who knew Clive, we were so shocked to hear of his tragic accident.
While Alan and I can’t be with you for Clive’s funeral, we send our deepest sympathies to you all and you can be sure we will be with you in spirit on Friday.

Clive will be very badly missed by everyone who knew him, but his inspiration to so many, will be a lasting legacy.

Thinking of you.
Sheena and Alan Spencer.
