DaveBIRDSuddenly at Llandough Hospital on 23rd September aged 67 years. Beloved brother to Ted, Dot, John and Bill. Brother-in-law to Margaret, Mike and Jacqui. Dear uncle to Paul, Owen, Kerry, Hannah, Shelley, Nicky, Marcus and Sarah. Dave will be very sadly missed by all his family and friends. Resting at J.Pidgeon & Son, 539 Cowbridge Road East, Victoria Park, Cardiff (02920 226604) until a private funeral service. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to The British Heart Foundation, C/O Richard Lockett, 35 Claremont, Malpas, Newport, NP20 6PJ.

Tonight "the boys" and I joined up to celebrate your birthday. We raised a glass to give thanks for your life and your friendship. You are sorely missed by all who you held dear and who held you dear.

Happy birthday Dave, 68 today. No card to send this year I'm afraid. I know you're in a better place and free of pain but I miss you so much it hurts. I'll be meeting up with the boys later to celebrate your birthday in the place you called "home".
