Roy DorrillBISHOP37 years a teacher at St James Junior School, passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday 19th April 2022, aged 77 years. Beloved cousin of Pat Allen and John Bishop and adored 'Uncle' to their families. A service will be held at Markeaton Crematorium (Main Chapel) on Wednesday 25th May at 3:30pm. Family flowers only please. If desired, donations can be given in memory to The Air Ambulance Service at the Crematorium, or online by visiting funeral-notices.co.uk There will be a live Webcast of the service, please contact Co-operative Funeralcare, Allestree 01332 550033 for details.

Mr Bishop was the best teacher we ever had. He encouraged us to be the best we could be.
Every time I saw him in town he always remembered me and the rest of my family.
Sadly you don't get teachers like him anymore
He will be very sadly missed.
