Bernard Brennan: a father; a dad; a grandad; a brother; a friend.
Dad, long gone but not forgotten are the long hot days of when you would tickle Jacqueline, Jennifer and Bernadette; in a garden blooming with flowers, rich in vegetables and bursting with ripe fruit. Dad, long gone but not forgotten are the memories of when you would throw me onto your shoulders and point out Keith Weller and Liam Brady, in our church of dreams.
Dad, long gone, but not forgottenwhen your music soothed the aching ear and Spoil-five was the craic.
